Solemnity of San Lorenzo Maiorano 2025

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Manfredonia took place on Thursday, February 6th, and Friday, February 7th. The eve featured cultural events: a "Music and Magic" body percussion workshop and a conference on "San Lorenzo: between history, legend, and tradition" at the Archbishop's Seminary atrium, followed in the evening by the San Lorenzo Concert in the Cathedral, performed by the New Generation Wind Orchestra of the City of Manfredonia, conducted by Maestro Antonio Pio La Marca.

On February 7th, after the Mass presided over by Archbishop Father Franco Moscone, the solemn procession departed from the Cathedral: the relic and the statue of the saint were carried through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the Manfredonia City Band, conducted by Maestro Giovanni Esposto.
