Edition 2025 — SoleArte

In the summer of 2025, SoleArte returned to its usual mid-August appointment in the historic center of Santo Stefano del Sole, as part of the Vivi Santo Stefano program dedicated to 500 years of community. Two evenings featuring ancient craft workshops, exhibitions by Irpinian artists and artisans, antiques, street performances, folk music, and peasant cuisine stands, amidst lit torches and suns suspended over the village alleys.

SoleArte 2025 in Santo Stefano del Sole

The 2025 edition of the festival organized by the Pro Loco Santostefanese took place in mid-August in the historic center of Santo Stefano del Sole, in the province of Avellino, confirming the formula that has characterized SoleArte - Signs of a Midsummer Night since the nineties: a widespread route through the alleys with ancient crafts revived live, works by local painters and sculptors, antique and collectible stalls, street performers, and folk music groups.

The event was part of the municipal program Vivi Santo Stefano 2025 - 500 Years of Community, promoted by the municipal administration together with the Pro Loco, associations, and festival committees, which enlivened the town from July to September with concerts, patron saint celebrations, festivals, and family initiatives, including the concert by Eugenio Bennato, the one by Mariella Nava, and the Spit-Roasted Podolian Veal Festival.

In 2025, the food and wine section also offered recipes from the Irpinian peasant memory, while the decor with torches, blue and orange drapes, and suns suspended between the balconies restored the usual midsummer night atmosphere to the village alleys.
