Edition 2025 — Sognando l'Ariston

The first edition of Sognando l'Ariston, the music competition created by Event Contest, kicked off in 2025 with the goal of discovering new pop music voices to nominate for Sanremo Giovani. Through a series of stages and selections across Northern Italy, young soloists and groups aged 16 to 26 performed original songs and covers, laying the groundwork for the format that would eventually arrive in Vicolungo, in the province of Novara, in 2026.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Sognando l'Ariston made its debut—a music competition organized by the Monza-based Event Contest, dedicated to discovering new authors, artists, and voices of Italian pop music to nominate for Sanremo Giovani.

The selections were held in multiple stages across Northern Italy, open to soloists and groups aged 16 to 26 across all pop music genres, from pop to rock and singer-songwriter styles. The public success of this first edition led, the following year, to the expansion of the circuit with new stages, including the one at Vicolungo The Style Outlets in Piedmont.
