About Social Run
Running for a good cause in Pioltello
The Social Run is a non-competitive charity run held at the Parco della Besozza in Pioltello (Metropolitan City of Milan). It's not a speed race but a community event: people of all ages run and walk together, with the aim of supporting solidarity projects.
Sport, music, and entertainment
During the event, the park comes alive with entertainment, music, and animation stands, transforming the afternoon into a celebration open to families and young people. Participation involves a minimum donation, with proceeds going to international cooperation projects promoted by CAG Patchanka.
Part of Slang Week
The Social Run is part of Slang Week, the youth festival of the Martesana area, and represents its concluding event, along with the closing of the Adolescence Festival. An event that intertwines sport, civic engagement, and social interaction, rooted in the associative fabric of Pioltello and the northeastern Milan area.
Social Run — edition 2026
The 6th edition of the Social Run will be held on May 24, 2026, at Parco della Besozza in Pioltello. The meet-up is scheduled for 3:00 PM and the start for 4:00 PM. During the event, there will be entertainment, music, and animation stands. The run is part of Slang Week and marks the conclusion of the Martesana Adolescence Festival, with an awards ceremony for a related photography contest.
