Snail Festival

Organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Valmontone, the 42nd Snail Festival brought Colle San Giovanni to life from June 24 to 29, 2025. The festival opened on Tuesday, June 24th, with Holy Mass and a solemn procession in honor of Saint John the Baptist, followed by a musical performance by Nada Bianchi and the opening of the food stalls.

Subsequent evenings featured performances by I Nuovi Alunni, a gymnastics exhibition by Ginnastica Valmontone, the night-time cycling tour with the Rosati Band, and the 'Stayin' Alive' 70s-80s-90s dance party with the Officina Dinamica Danza e Fitness school. On Sunday, June 29th, the grand finale: the 15th edition of the Snail Fun Run, the Welcome for Dance exhibition, the Spazio Vasco tribute, and the closing fireworks display. Admission cost 1 euro, with food and drinks available for purchase at the stalls.
