Edition 2025 — SinagrArte
SinagrArte 2025 — 4th Edition
The fourth edition of SinagrArte took place in Sinagra from August 2 to 23, 2025, with the inauguration on Saturday, August 2, at 6 PM and evening exhibition hours from 7 PM to 10 PM in the halls of Palazzo Salleo and the spaces of the historic center. The chosen theme, "Ithaca," served as the common thread for a festival dedicated to memory, vision, and civic engagement.
The event, curated by Filippo Puglia and promoted by the Municipality of Sinagra (Mayor Nino Musca, Councilor for Culture Marzia Mancuso) with the Pro Loco presided over by Enza Mola, brought together numerous emerging artists alongside masters with over thirty years of career, featuring works of painting, photography, sculpture, and installation. There was also space for poetry, with interpretive readings by local poets such as Domenico Orifici and Franco Fogliani, and music, with a saxophone performance by maestro Gioacchino De Carlo.
Among the most intense moments was the screening of videos and photographs by reporter Rick Holland from the Ukrainian front, dedicated to the work of volunteers in conflict zones. The closing ceremony, hosted by journalist Massimo Scaffidi, saw the presentation of certificates to artists, poets, and collaborators, as well as a tribute in memory of the artist Antonino Schepisi.
