The jazz that follows the Sile river

Sile Jazz is a travelling festival that brings jazz music to unusual locations — squares, loggias, parks, Venetian villas — along the course of the Sile river, between the provinces of Treviso and Venice. Organized by nusica.org with the artistic direction of Alessandro Fedrigo, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Veneto Region.

Stops in the provincial capital

In Treviso city, the concerts are held in some of the most evocative places in the historic centre: the Loggia dei Cavalieri, Piazza dei Signori, and the Auditorium Santa Caterina. Here, the festival alternates evening concerts, "soundwalks" among the city's fountains, and original productions, in dialogue with the urban fabric of the capital of the Marca.

"Altri Argini": jazz beyond the concert

The "Altri Argini" edition offers a journey through European contemporary jazz that focuses on composition, improvisation, and experimentation. As explained by director Fedrigo, the goal is to transform Sile Jazz into "a space where unexpected encounters can happen", rather than just a series of concerts.

A widespread and sustainable festival

With dozens of events spread across Treviso, Venice, and the riverside municipalities of the Sile, the festival combines quality music with the promotion of the territory, also receiving the Jazz Takes The Green recognition for its attention to environmental sustainability.
