Sikano Fest 2025: the eighth edition
The 2025 edition of Sikano Fest, the eighth, was dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Andrea Camilleri: quotes, anecdotes, and memories of the famous Sicilian writer accompanied the entire program, organized by the Municipality of Santa Ninfa.
The fourth event, on August 19th at 9:00 PM in Piazza Libertà, featured singer Karima accompanied by the Amedeo Ariano Trio in the show "Life time", a journey through great songs of Italian music and famous international evergreens. Karima, with an intense and powerful voice, has opened concerts for Whitney Houston and John Legend; Amedeo Ariano is an internationally renowned drummer and percussionist, collaborator of Lucio Dalla, Renzo Arbore, Gino Paoli, and Ornella Vanoni.
The festival closed on August 24th at the Castello di Rampinzeri with Sicilian popular storytelling by Dario Cascio, accompanied by astronomical observations curated by the Lor.sa.star association and wine tastings from the Cantina Sociale of Santa Ninfa, in an evening that combined music, storytelling, nature, and the flavors of the territory.
