Sikania Film Festival 2025 — 3rd Edition
The third edition of the Sikania Film Festival was held on September 19 and 20, 2025, at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium in Misterbianco, with evenings starting at 8:30 PM. The festival achieved record numbers, with over 300 participating works and a final selection of 13 short films and 9 music videos in competition.
Among the awards presented, the Global Award (audience vote) and the Press Award went to Il Pettirosso by Luca Rodolico, while the jury's Etna Award was given to L'amore di un figlio by Mattia Cirilli. Other winners included La Fèmmina by Nuanda Sheridan and the music video Zagara miele e sale.
Alongside the screenings, the evenings featured live music with Starchild, Laura Amich, Emilio Valvo, and soprano Daniela Rossello, as well as dance performances, book presentations, and fashion shows by young designers from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, confirming the festival's multidisciplinary vocation.
