The 2025 edition
The 2025 edition of the Siena Sport Experience – Bike Festival confirmed the Giardini della Lizza as a reference point for cycling enthusiasts in the heart of Siena, Tuscany. The Eroica village, street food, and family activities accompanied the most anticipated sporting moment.
On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the fifth edition of the Eroica Juniores Siena-Montalcino – Coppa Andrea Meneghelli took place: 151 riders divided into 29 teams, with formations coming from Slovenia, the Czech Republic, San Marino, Germany, and Romania, in addition to the best Italian teams. The 107-kilometer race with four gravel sections started from the Lizza and arrived in Piazza del Popolo in Montalcino, where Mattia Proietti Gagliardoni (Team Franco Ballerini) triumphed solo, becoming the first Italian to win the race.
