Sicula Gourmet 2025: the second edition

From May 23 to 25, 2025, the historic center of Mirabella Imbaccari hosted the second edition of Sicula Gourmet, with an even richer program along via Pio La Torre and piazza Aldo Moro. The event, organized by the Municipality with the support of the Regional Department of Agriculture, celebrated cheeses, cured meats, extra virgin olive oil, natural wines, ancient grains, and traditional sweets.

The festival was inaugurated on Friday with the opening ceremony and a speech by the Regional Councilor for Agriculture. Among the most popular events: the cooking shows by chef associations from Enna and Catania, the "Sapori makkarisi" tastings, guided tours of the village, the exhibition of vintage cars and classic Vespas, and the conference "Sicilian food beyond regional borders." The festival concluded on Sunday, May 25, with a concert by Mario Incudine.

2025 Program

Friday, May 23: 6:00 PM opening ceremony; 7:00 PM official inauguration; 7:30 PM stands open; 9:00 PM performance by the Calliope Music & Singing Academy.

Saturday, May 24: 5:00 PM guided tour; 6:00 PM stands open; 6:15 PM cooking show with chef associations from Enna and Catania; 7:00 PM "Sapori makkarisi" tasting; 9:00 PM concert by emerging bands.

Sunday, May 25: 10:30 AM stands open; 11:00 AM exhibition of vintage cars and classic Vespas; 4:00 PM guided tour; 5:00 PM conference "Sicilian food beyond regional borders"; 6:00 PM cooking show; 7:00 PM tastings; 9:00 PM final concert by Mario Incudine.
