Sicilian Fried Food Festival 2025 — 5th Edition
From September 12 to 14, 2025, the "A. Aniante" Municipal Park in Viagrande (CT) hosted the fifth edition of the Sicilian Fried Food Festival, dedicated to traditional Etna street food. For three evenings, the stalls offered the full range of Sicilian fried rotisserie: arancini, panelle, crispelle with anchovies or ricotta, bombe, siciliane, as well as fried fish platters, battered vegetables, and traditional desserts like cannoli and pistachio specialties.
Alongside the gastronomic offerings, the event featured an artisan market with handmade goods from local artists and a program of live music, shows, and entertainment for audiences of all ages. Admission was free, with tastings available for purchase at the stalls. The event was part of the "Summer in Viagrande" 2025 program, promoted by the Municipality of Viagrande in the Etna district of the Province of Catania.
