Edition 2025 — Sicani Asparagus Festival
The 2nd Sicani Wild Asparagus Festival was held from April 25 to 27, 2025, in Sant'Angelo Muxaro, in the province of Agrigento, in Piazza Umberto I.
Building on the success of the 2024 debut edition, which drew over five thousand visitors from across Sicily, the event featured tastings, show cooking, food stalls, cooking workshops, craft exhibitions, musical entertainment, and street performers.
A significant focus was placed on outdoor activities: e-bike excursions, trekking through the necropolis and the landscapes of the Sicani Mountains, canoeing and SUP trips on the Platani River, speleological visits, and guided walks. The 2025 edition, included in the year of Agrigento as the Italian Capital of Culture, served as an important showcase for the small Sicani village.
