Edition 2025 — Sheep Meat Festival — Tavenna
In 2025, Tavenna again hosted the Sheep Meat Festival in early September during Saint Irene's days, featuring sheep specialties from Basso Molise and the Craft Exhibition dedicated to bobbin lace.
On September 2nd and 3rd, 2025, the Pro Loco of Tavenna hosted the traditional Sheep Meat Festival of Sant'Irene, with tastings of sheep-based dishes and the Craft Exhibition featuring prized bobbin lace. The event, accompanied by music and folk dances, reaffirms the village's connection in the Province of Campobasso to its gastronomic and artisanal traditions.
