Edition 2025 — Sguardi Altrove

The 32nd edition of Sguardi Altrove took place in March 2025 in Milan, confirming the festival as a benchmark for women's cinema. The usual competitive sections featured international films directed by women, retrospectives, and meetings dedicated to cinema, rights, and gender equality.

The 2025 edition of Sguardi Altrove continued the long journey of the Milanese festival dedicated to the female gaze on cinema. The competitive sections presented international feature films and short films directed by women, alongside Italian cinema in the #FrameItalia section.

As every year, the festival complemented screenings with a packed schedule of meetings, retrospectives, and awards, reaffirming its commitment to the representation of women in cinema and to the themes of inclusion and rights. The Anteo cinemas and university spaces in Milan hosted the public and guests of the edition.
