Edition 2025 — Sete Sóis Sete Luas
The 33rd edition of the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival brought life to Pontedera, in the province of Pisa, from June 22 to July 18, 2025. The festival opened at the Centrum with the aerial and comedic show "Shake, Shake, Shake" by the Catalan company Pakipaya.
The musical heart of the edition was the original project MED 7LUAS25 ORKESTRA, which brought together musicians from Cape Verde, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Tunisia. Great prominence was also given to the Brava 7Luas Band from Cape Verde, which performed in the squares of the hamlets: on July 16 in Piazza Monti in Treggiaia and on July 19 in Piazza Malaspina in Montecastello. The edition featured world music, contemporary circus, and gastronomic moments, hosting artists from Cape Verde, Brazil, Réunion, Portugal, Greece, Tunisia, Spain, and Italy, with numerous national premieres and mostly free admission.
