Edition 2025 — Serravalle Opera

The 2025 edition of Serravalle Opera brought "La Serva Padrona" by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi to the Rocca of Serravalle Pistoiese, a jewel of the 18th-century comic intermezzo repertoire. On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 9:00 PM, with free admission, a talented cast brought the famous story of Uberto and Serpina to life within the ancient castle walls.

For the 2025 edition, Serravalle Opera staged "La Serva Padrona" by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, a comic intermezzo with a brilliant character and lively arias, on Saturday, June 28 at 9:00 PM in the Rocca of Serravalle Pistoiese. The show, with free admission, featured soprano Valentina Saccone and bass Cesare Filiberto Tenuta, accompanied by Alice Parente on violin and Niccolò Cantara on piano. As recalled by the Councilor for Culture Ilaria Gargini, the opera is "a jewel of the Baroque repertoire," a masterpiece of lightness and wit that found in the fortress setting the ideal backdrop for the story of Uberto and the cunning Serpina.
