Edition 2025 — September Festival
The 183rd year of the festival
In 2025, the September Festival in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows reached its 183rd year, confirming itself as the most attended event in the calendar of Fiano Romano, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital. The celebrations were held from September 19 to 21, according to the custom that sets the festival on the third Sunday of the month.
Between faith and community
The historic center was animated for three days by festive lights, stalls, and moments of conviviality, while liturgical celebrations took place in the church of Santo Stefano. The Sunday procession, with the sacred image of Our Lady of Sorrows accompanied by the marching band, attracted as always residents, locals who returned for the occasion, and visitors from neighboring towns in the Tiber Valley. Local civil authorities and representatives of the Tiber territory took part in the celebrations.
