Selva di Fasano Grape Festival

The fourteenth edition of the Selva di Fasano Grape Festival was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM, along Viale Toledo and in the outdoor area of the Casina Municipale, in the hillside hamlet of Fasano (province of Brindisi).

The festival, organized by the Pro Selva Association led by president Rosanna Petruzzi and sponsored by the Municipality of Fasano, opened with a parade of about ten decorated Apecar vehicles adorned with vine shoots, led by the Timpanisti Fajanensis and accompanied by groups in traditional costumes and pizzica dancers. Along the route, there was an exhibition of grape varieties and a demonstration of grape treading, with children crushing the grapes barefoot.

The afternoon was enlivened by dance performances by Carmen Dance and music by DJ Tonix_L, with the voice of Giulio Sassanelli. There were also tastings of typical dishes and a preview of the grape focaccia from Forno Lisi. The day concluded with the drawing of the "farmer's lottery," full of prizes related to the agricultural world.
