Sealamorkt (All Souls' Market)

The 2025 edition of the Sealamorkt took place on Monday, November 3rd: since November 2nd fell on a Sunday, the fair was postponed to the following day, in accordance with custom. As every year, the smallest city in South Tyrol came alive from the early morning hours, filling the historic center, enclosed by medieval walls, with market stalls.

Visitors found the usual rich selection of typical products (speck, cheeses, grappa, wine, sweets, and organic produce from valley farms), clothing, leather goods, and handicrafts, in addition to the traditional livestock market with sheep and goats. Roasted chestnuts and mulled wine accompanied a festive day that confirms the Sealamorkt as one of the oldest and most popular fairs in the Alpine region.
