Edition 2025 — Sand Nativity

The seventh edition of the Scorrano Sand Nativity, titled "Light and Peace," was inaugurated on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM and remained open continuously until January 6, 2026. Six international sculptors modeled the sculptures in the Augustinian Cloister and the courtyard of Palazzo De Iaco-Veris, with the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi and his Canticle of the Creatures at the heart of the message.

Sand Nativity '25 — "Light and Peace"

The 2025-2026 edition, the seventh in the event's history, featured the theme "Light and Peace", a universal message embodied by the sculpture dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi and his Canticle of the Creatures. The inauguration was held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM, with public access from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026.

The works were created by six internationally renowned artists — Slava Borecki, Enguerrand David, David Ducharme, Mariel Heessells, Susanne Ruseler, and Leonardo Ugolini — from various countries across Europe and North America, within the Cloister of the former Augustinian Convent and the ancient courtyard of Palazzo De Iaco-Veris. Surrounding the exhibition, the historic center of Scorrano was illuminated with famous light displays, a twenty-meter-tall Christmas tree, and numerous markets.

Opening hours were: weekdays 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM; Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM, with morning openings (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) on major holidays. Admission was paid, with an affordably priced ticket available on-site.
