School Education Theatre Review

The 40th edition of the School Education Theatre Review was held in Serra San Quirico (AN) in the spring of 2025, a special edition celebrating forty years of one of the most important theatre-education events in Italy. The guiding theme of the year was "the upside-down world", with the inspiring figure of Alice, the protagonist of Alice in Wonderland.

As tradition dictates, the review was structured around the three moments of Making Theatre, Watching Theatre, and Talking about Theatre, featuring school performances, workshops, labs, and the usual theatre lounge for discussions. Hundreds of students, teachers, and operators from all over Italy participated in the events at the Teatro Palestra and in the historic center of the village, confirming Serra San Quirico's role as Italy's capital of theatre in schools.
