Schio Carnival

In 2025, the Carnival of Schio once again animated the city center with its parades of allegorical floats and the Trofeo dei Quartieri, the competition that pits the Schio districts against each other. The floats, built by volunteers from A.D.C. Amici del Carnevale, paraded through the city streets accompanied by entertainment, music, and costumed groups. In Piazza Alessandro Rossi, food stalls offered fritters, hot chocolate, and mulled wine. A free-admission community celebration, organized by Pro Loco Schio and Amici del Carnevale, which every year brings color to the winter of the Alto Vicentino region in the province of Vicenza.
