Schermi Cinema Multipiazza

The 2025 edition

The fifth edition of Schermi Cinema Multipiazza took place from July 21 to September 2025, expanding its reach to six cities in four regions: Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, and Lazio. Stops included Catanzaro, Cosenza, Reggio Calabria, Foggia, Nicosia, and Longone Sabino, for over twenty free-admission events.

The festival kicked off in Catanzaro with three consecutive evenings: July 21 in the Gagliano district with I due marescialli by Sergio Corbucci, July 22 on Viale Isonzo with The Pursuit of Happyness by Gabriele Muccino, and July 23 in the Santa Maria district with The Departed by Martin Scorsese. The cinema-van, with its side-mounted screen, traveled through the suburbs, creating spaces for meeting, training, and celebration, with a schedule of screenings, workshops, and masterclasses that directly involved local communities.
