Scenari Casamarciano National Theatre Festival

15th edition, from September 1st to 7th, 2025

The fifteenth edition of Scenari Casamarciano was held from September 1st to 7th, 2025 in the village of Santa Maria del Plesco, with free evening performances starting at 8:30 PM. The program intertwined reinterpretations of classics and the great tradition of Neapolitan theatre.

• September 1st: "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes, Progetto Donna Company (Reggio Calabria);
• September 2nd: "The Merry Wives of Windsor", Artemisia Teatro (Bari);
• September 3rd: "'A Tempesta", Imprevisti e Probabilità (Latina);
• September 4th: "A che servono questi quattrini", Hyria Company, directed by Giovanni Cavaccini;
• September 5th: "Squilla il telefono" with Vincenzo De Lucia;
• September 6th: "Captivo" with Gianfranco Gallo;
• September 7th: "Nuie simm'e' 'o Sud" with Marisa Laurito.

The event was promoted by the Municipality of Casamarciano, in collaboration with the Hyria Amateur Theatre Company and with the support of the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples, and the Italian Federation of Amateur Theatre.
