Edition 2025 — Scandicci Music Competition
The 14th edition of the Scandicci International Music Competition, organized by the Filarmonica Vincenzo Bellini under the artistic direction of Maestro Luca Marino, brought approximately 4,000 young musicians from eleven Italian regions to Scandicci.
The competition schedule included bands on May 11, choirs and opera singing on May 12, modern singing on May 13 with Peppe Vessicchio as jury president, and soloists, small ensembles, and orchestras from May 13 to 17, with the final prize-giving ceremony on May 17. The "Best School" award (Silver Pegasus) went to the Forteguerri Music High School of Pistoia.
