Scalata al Castello

The 52nd edition of the Scalata al Castello brought over 300 athletes from all over the world to Arezzo for the running evening of August 27, 2025. The international 10 km race, held on the traditional city circuit, saw the victory of Burundian Therence Bizoza, while Elvanie Nimbona won the women's 5 km. Prominent champions such as Yohannes Chiappinelli, Italian marathon record holder, and Italian record holder Sofia Yaremchuk were at the start. The event, organized by U.P. Policiano with the support of the Municipality and Province of Arezzo, confirmed the format that alternates amateur races, youth events, and the evening international challenge in the heart of the Tuscan city.
