Savoca Living Nativity

From December 26, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the historic center of Savoca hosted the Living Nativity organized by the S. Maria Assunta Parish community. Along the alleys of the medieval village, made world-famous as a set for "The Godfather", about a hundred costumed actors brought the Nativity re-enactment, artisan workshops, and scenes of rural life from the Sicilian past to life.

The route, set up among the ancient stones, churches, and historic palaces of the town, was enriched by tastings of typical products and an atmosphere suspended in time. Admission was set at a symbolic donation, in an initiative designed as a moment of faith and gathering for the entire community of the town of Savoca, in Ionian Sicily.
