Edition 2025 — Saviola Carnival

The Saviola Carnival is a newly established event: the first edition takes place in 2026 in Villa Saviola di Motteggiana. The traditional Mantua Carnival festivals have always enlivened the towns of the lowlands, and the Associazione Feste Saviolese has chosen to create its own dedicated event.

The Saviola Carnival debuts in 2026 and therefore has no previous editions: the first takes place in Villa Saviola di Motteggiana. The festival is born in the wake of the lively Carnival tradition of the Mantua lowlands, where mask parades, sweets, and entertainment have always accompanied the Carnival period in the towns along the Po river. The Associazione Feste Saviolese APS, already active with other events in the area, wanted to enrich the local calendar with a new event dedicated to families and children.
