Edition 2025 — Sausage Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Sausage Festival returned to animate Leporano as part of the 28th edition of the Leporano Summer, the seasonal festival promoted by the Municipality with the support of the Puglia Region. At the end of July, the village near Taranto hosted the customary evening dedicated to grilled sausage, amidst aromas, folk music, and conviviality, confirming the event as one of the most beloved gastronomic appointments of the Leporano summer.

The 2025 Sausage Festival in Leporano

In 2025, the Sausage Festival once again found its place in the busy calendar of the Leporano Summer, now in its 28th edition and officially presented at the Muscettola Castle in Leporano. The festival, supported by the Municipality and the Puglia Region, offered concerts, shows, craft workshops, and various gastronomic festivals throughout the summer.

At the end of July, the sausage prepared by local butchers according to traditional recipes returned as the star of an evening of celebration in the town center, with free-entry tastings, live music, and dancing. An appointment that every year combines taste, tradition, and community spirit in the small village overlooking the Ionian Sea, in the province of Taranto.
