Edition 2025 — Sassuolo Carnival

In the years preceding 2026, the Sassuolo Carnival in Piazza Garibaldi had been suspended for a long time: as the city institutions themselves recalled, the masked festival in the heart of the historic center had remained "forgotten for too many years." It is precisely from this awareness that the desire of the Municipality of Sassuolo and the Sassuololtre association to bring the event back to the square starting from the following edition was born.

For the years preceding 2026, and therefore also for 2025, city sources do not document a structured Carnival party in Piazza Garibaldi in Sassuolo: the tradition had in fact been suspended for some time.

It was precisely the municipal administration and the Sassuololtre association, in the province of Modena, who set themselves the goal of reviving this popular festival, with the aim of keeping the historic center alive and vibrant and of giving children and families back a dedicated event. The true relaunch of the Sassuolo Carnival therefore took place in the following edition, that of 2026.
