Sarner Kirchtag / Val Sarentino Festival

In 2025, the Sarner Kirchtag was held from September 6th to 8th in Sarentino, in the Val Sarentino. The festival began on Saturday with a parade and brass band concert, followed by an evening torchlight procession through the village center. Sunday featured Holy Mass, a procession to the chapel of San Cipriano, and in the afternoon, the grand folk parade with floats, traditional costume groups, mounted fanfares, and prize-winning Haflinger horses. The Monday morning session hosted the traditional livestock market, with stalls featuring handicrafts and typical valley products, confirming the deep bond of the Sarentino community with its traditions.
