Santissimo Crocifisso Festival (Patronal Feast)

The 2025 Santissimo Crocifisso Festival in Carini was held from September 11th to 14th, enlivening the historic center and particularly Piazza Duomo. The evening of September 11th featured a Måneskin tribute concert by the band Coraline; on September 12th, the Sicilia Cabaret show took the stage with Matranga and Minafò, I 4 Gusti, Mago Plip, the Bluesisters, Riccardo Pace, Salvo Madonia, and Massimino. On September 13th, the square transformed into an open-air disco with Radio Time's 90s Party.

The most solemn moment arrived on the evening of Sunday, September 14th, the day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross: after mass, the procession of the Santissimo Crocifisso and Saint Vitus statues began around 9:00 PM through the town streets, followed by the traditional fireworks. Exhibitions and live music rounded out the four days of festivities, all with free admission.
