In Trabia, the 2025 patronal feast was celebrated from September 26 to 29, reaching its most anticipated moment on Sunday, September 29. After the three-day preparation, the community relived the "Truvata ra cruci": the procession of fishermen and noble families in period costumes, together with the municipal administration, transported the bronze cross from Piazza Fuori Porta to the Mother Church. In the afternoon, the solemn procession of the Crucifix simulacrum crossed the festively lit town center, accompanied by parish confraternities. There was no shortage of the alborata, the masculiata, the brass band, stalls along the main street, and fireworks to close the day.
