Edition 2025 — Santerno Fair
The 13th edition of the Santerno Agricultural Fair, held from June 20 to 22, 2025, in Imola, was hailed as a record edition: the most attended ever, with a significant increase in visitors, exhibitors, and sales. Over 120 entities animated the event, including 61 agricultural companies, 27 exhibitors of machinery and equipment, 9 nursery businesses, 5 craft breweries, 6 local food festival committees, and numerous associations.
The exhibition confirmed its status as the largest livestock exhibition in Emilia-Romagna, featuring 108 donkeys, 55 cattle, 46 horses, 65 sheep and goats, 200 poultry, and sheepdogs. For the first time, all recognized Italian donkey breeds were present, alongside the Interregional Exhibition of the Romagnolo Donkey and the Gran Galà del Somaro show. Among the most moving moments was the birth of a Romagnolo Cattle calf, symbolically named "Santerno." There were also workshops for children, milking demonstrations, Slow Food meetings, photographic exhibitions, and guided tours of the Imola Archaeological Deposit.
