Santa Maura Feast and Fair

The 2025 edition of the Santa Maura Feast and Fair took place on May 1st in Corsano, confirming the formula that weaves faith and rural tradition. The morning was marked by the procession which, starting from the Santa Maura Chapel in the open countryside, reached the town center with the participation of the Santa Sofia Parish and the faithful of Capo di Leuca.

Around the chapel, the fair came to life: stalls of agricultural products and various goods, Salento gastronomy stands with Corsano specialties—from paparotta to fave cotte—and the traditional popular games of the Pro Loco, from the contest to guess the weight of the piglet to wine tasting. A day of outdoor celebration, familiar and convivial, which attracted visitors to Corsano from all the neighboring towns.

• Daytime — Santa Maura Fair: stalls of agricultural products, various goods, and Salento gastronomy stands (paparotta, frise, fave cotte corsanesi)
• Afternoon — Pro Loco popular games: contest to guess the weight of the piglet, estimation of the ham's height, wine tasting, and volleyball tournament
• Conclusion — Fireworks display
