The 2025 Patronal Feast

On December 10, 2025, the Santa Maria di Loreto parish in Castelverde, in Rome's Municipio VI, celebrated its patronal feast with a day of particular significance for the community.

Cardinal Vicar Baldo Reina participated in the celebration during his pastoral visit to the neighborhood, inviting the faithful to «let the Lord enter our ordinary life» and to open their hearts and homes to the normality of daily life. The visit coincided with the official entry of the new parish priest, Father Michele Ferretti.

The day highlighted the vitality of a community that accompanies over two hundred children on their journey towards their first communion and about eighty teenagers towards confirmation, and which, through Caritas and the listening center, supports about a hundred families every month in a territory that is vast and distant from the center of Rome.
