Santa Maria delle Grazie Festival

The 2025 Santa Maria delle Grazie Festival took place in San Giovanni Rotondo from August 31 to September 10, with the main events on September 8, 9, and 10. On August 31, the procession carried the Sacred Painting from the Sanctuary to the Mother Church of San Leonardo, accompanied by the "Umberto Giordano" brass band.

The artistic program, organized by the Patronal Festival and Events Committee with the patronage of the Municipality, offered three evenings of major free concerts: Monday, September 8, Sud Sound System at Parco del Papa (10:00 PM), Tuesday, September 9, James Senese in Piazza Europa (9:30 PM), and Wednesday, September 10, the "Notte di Note" show, a journey through the songs of Claudio Baglioni, also in Piazza Europa.

On September 9, the solemn day, the 11:00 AM mass was presided over by Bishop Franco Moscone, followed in the evening by the grand procession through the city streets. At midnight, the sky over Parco del Papa lit up with traditional fireworks. On September 10, the icon returned to the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, escorted by the "Euphonia" band.
