Proceeds were donated to the restoration of the small church of Saint Lucy.

The 2025 festival in the historic center

The 2025 edition of the Santa Lucia Occhietti Festival was held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM, in the historic center of Triggiano. After the mass and the procession of the statue of Saint Lucy, the festival came alive with the tasting of occhietti, the typical glazed sweet taralli of Bari, and the exhibition of artisan nativity scenes set up along the streets of the old town.

Musical accompaniment was provided by the Taranta Fil Morena folk group, while poets and storytellers guided the public on a journey of memories, music, and popular traditions.
