Santa Lucia Fair

The 2025 edition of the Santa Lucia Fair in Tricase confirmed the strong bond between the district and its Saint. The traditional fair occupied the square in front of the chapel and the nearby streets from the early morning hours, with stalls selling figurines and decorations for the nativity scene and many typical products of the Christmas period.

The novelty of recent years has been the enhancement of Piazza Santa Lucia following its redevelopment: on December 13th, from 6:30 PM, the square came alive with craft markets and gift ideas, music and cultural shows, small rides and entertainment for children, and zero-kilometer street food. The initiative, promoted by the Municipal Administration together with the GAL, Merchants' Association, Pro Loco, parish, and district merchants, aimed to restore the square's vocation as a meeting place. As per tradition, the religious celebrations in honor of Saint Lucia in the heart of the Tricase district provided the backdrop.

Traditional Fair

From the early morning, stalls in the square in front of the Santa Lucia chapel and in the surrounding streets: figurines and decorations for the nativity scene, items for Christmas displays, and typical seasonal products.

Religious Festival

Eucharistic celebrations in honor of Saint Lucia in the district chapel, with a procession accompanied by a brass band concert and fireworks display, according to the tradition of the Confraternity of S. Rocco-S. Lucia.
