Santa Croce Festival - Tataratà Festival

The 358th edition of the Santa Croce Festival - Tataratà Festival was held in Casteltermini, in the province of Agrigento, on May 23, 24, and 25, 2025. The event renewed the centuries-old ritual celebrating the discovery of the Cross, blending the religious dimension with the town's identity-based folklore.

Friday opened with the entry of the five guilds — Celibi, Pecorai, Borgesi, Real Maestranza, and Vurdunara — accompanied by the "Principi Termini e Ferreri" Historical Pageant and the Tataratà group, followed by the relic procession with a blessing in Piazza Duomo. On Saturday and Sunday, the Real Maestranza paraded on horseback while the Tataratà group presented its performances along Corso Umberto and in Piazza Duomo, in front of a large crowd.
