The 2025 Edition

In 2025, the Sant'Oronzo Patronal Festival animated Campi Salentina from August 31 to September 2. On the evening of Saturday, August 31, after the matinée by the Musicampi Band through the city center, the solemn procession of the Saint's silver bust took place, preceded by the presentation of the city keys in Piazza Libertà. On Sunday, September 1st, the patronal day, a Eucharistic concelebration was held, presided over by the Archbishop of Lecce, while in the evening, the flag-wavers of the Rione Castello di Carovigno performed.

The heart of the cultural section was the 'Granaio di Terra d'Otranto', in Piazza Unità d'Italia, featuring stands from farms and historic bakeries, fresh pasta workshops, the 'Campi di grano' exhibition, a conference on ancient grains, and workshops for children with local chefs. The event was organized by the Pro Loco Campi Salentina with the patronage of the Province of Lecce, GAL Terra d'Arneo, Slow Food Lecce, and the parish. The Palio, illuminations, fireworks, and tastings were also highlights of the event.
