Edition 2025 — Sant'Oronzo Feast

The 2025 edition of the Sant'Oronzo Feast in Turi took place from August 24th to 28th, featuring a rich program of religious and secular events. Highlights included the evening procession on August 25th from the Mother Church to the Church of Sant'Oronzo alla Grotta, the return of the Saint's bust on the Triumphal Chariot on August 26th, and the closing evening on August 28th in Piazza Pertini with a concert by Riccardo Fogli.

How it went in 2025

The 2025 Sant'Oronzo Feast brought Turi to life from August 24th to 28th with five days of celebrations. August 24th kicked off with the traditional Sant'Oronzo Fair; on the evening of August 25th, the solemn procession accompanied the Saint's bust from the Mother Church to the Church of Sant'Oronzo alla Grotta.

On August 26th, after the hot-air balloon release scheduled around 8:30 PM in Largo San Giovanni, the statue was hoisted onto the Triumphal Chariot and the procession reached the town center, preceded by the historical cavalcade and a group of flag-wavers. There was no shortage of concerts, DJ sets, entertainment for all ages, brass bands, and illuminations. Officially closing the festival on the evening of August 28th was the concert by Riccardo Fogli in Piazza Pertini, followed by the fireworks display.
