Edition 2025 — Sant'Onofrio Festival

On the first Sunday of August 2025, Sutera celebrated Saint Onuphrius, the town's co-patron. On Saturday, August 2, the evocative nocturnal procession of the 1649 silver reliquary took place in the evening with a torchlight parade through the alleys of the historic center. On Sunday, August 3, the Procession of Miracles crossed the ancient Giardinello district, concluding in the late afternoon with the return of the reliquary to the summit of Mount San Paolino.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 Sant'Onofrio Festival took place in the village of Sutera, in the province of Caltanissetta, following the usual calendar of the first Sunday of August. On Saturday, August 2, the community gathered for the nocturnal procession of the silver reliquary, accompanied by a torchlight parade that illuminated the village streets. On Sunday, August 3, the Procession of Miracles was held around the medieval core of Giardinello, with the faithful bringing their children close to the sacred relics according to ancient devotion. The day concluded with the return of the urn to the mountain summit.
