Edition 2025 — Sant'Erberto Feast
Sant'Erberto 2025 in Conza della Campania
The 2025 edition of the patronal feast was held on August 19th, 20th, and 21st, confirming the expansion to multiple days of the traditional calendar, which has always revolved around August 20th, the liturgical day of Sant'Erberto. The celebrations took place in Piazza Sandro Pertini, in front of the Co-cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the religious heart of the town rebuilt after the 1980 Irpinia earthquake.
However, 2025 was a special year for Conza's devotion: from October 13th to 19th, the Archdiocese of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi-Conza-Nusco-Bisaccia promoted the canonical recognition of the relics of Sant'Erberto in the Co-cathedral, with vespers presided over by Archbishop Pasquale Cascio, days of exposition of the urn, and the concluding Mass of deposition in the sarcophagus. A rare event that brought faithful from all over Irpinia to Conza della Campania and renewed the community's bond with its patron saint.
