Edition 2025 — Sant'Eraclio Festival
Sant'Eraclio 2025 in Pietravairano
The 2025 edition of the patronal festival confirmed the traditional structure: the procession with the patron's statue through the village streets and, immediately after, a dance and tarantella show that enlivened the evening of August 31st. The following day, September 1st, the town celebrated Sant'Eraclio, bishop and martyr, liturgically.
The celebration was part of the program of the Religious and Cultural Tourism Salon, a project that saw Pietravairano in the role of lead municipality alongside Novi Velia, Morigerati, Carbonara di Nola, San Paolo Belsito, Guardia Lombardi, and Santa Lucia di Serino. The local calendar continued on September 19th with the feast of San Nicola and on September 20th with a concert at the theater-temple of Mount San Nicola.
In 2025, the festival once again drew many emigrants and visitors from neighboring towns in the Alto Casertano, confirming Sant'Eraclio's role as the community's primary identity-defining event.
