Sant'Emidio 2025 in Alatri

From August 4th to 10th, 2025, the Sant'Emidio district in Alatri experienced an intense week of celebrations. The festival opened on Monday, August 4th, with the visit of the saint's portrait to the elderly and the sick, and continued every evening with the rosary and mass, dedicated in turn to peace, the deceased, and the anointing of the sick.

Each evening was accompanied by a different musical group and a traditional dish: scialatielli, mezze maniche all'amatriciana, gnocchi with meat sauce, polenta with sauce, maltagliati with beans, and the inevitable fettuccine alla ciociara. On Saturday, August 9th, the procession took place along Via San Pancrazio and Via Sant'Emidio, while on Sunday, August 10th, with morning masses and the evening rosary, the festival concluded with a fireworks display that lit up the district's sky.
