Sant'Edisto Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sant'Edisto Festival took place in Sant'Oreste, in the province of Rome, with the highlight on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, the day dedicated to the patron saint. The program promoted by the Municipality of Sant'Oreste offered the usual blend of faith and tradition: solemn mass, the 16th-century historical pageant organized by the Sant'Oreste Historical Group, the procession with the statue of Sant'Edisto accompanied by a brass band through the streets of the historic center, a fireworks display, and a concert to close the day of festivities. In the preceding days, traditional events were held, including the tasting of the giant cake for St. Oreste's name day, in a weekend that drew residents and visitors from across the area to the village at the foot of Mount Soratte.
