Sant'Anna Festival in Pioppo 2025

The patronal feast of Pioppo took place from July 22nd to 27th, 2025, preceded by the novena and the Sant'Anna pilgrim moments in the village squares. The civic program alternated between water games in Piazza Manzoni, a football derby, an outdoor cinema screening of "La Stranezza", a gastronomic evening with tastings of local desserts, a cabaret show with Sasà Salvaggio, and a color party with a DJ.

The highlight was Saturday, July 26th, the solemnity of Saints Joachim and Anne: from the morning alborata to the "I Fiati dei Normanni" marching band through the streets, from the solemn Holy Mass with the act of entrustment by civil authorities to the evening procession of the statue, accompanied by illuminations and fireworks. To close the festivities on Sunday, July 27th, there was a musical tribute by the group Mediterraneo in Piazza Valletajo.
