The festival of wine and conviviality in the village of the Sibillini
Sant'Angelo DiVino is the food and wine event that enlivens the historic center of Sant'Angelo in Pontano, a small village in the Province of Macerata nestled among the gentle hills that descend from the Sibillini Mountains towards the Tenna valley, in the heart of the Marche region. Born in 2023, the event has grown with each edition to become one of the most anticipated moments of the summer in the area, capable of attracting wine enthusiasts, the curious, and visitors from outside the region.
The common thread of the event is local wine: every year, some Marche wineries, chosen from family-run businesses and artisanal producers, present their labels in a tasting journey that winds through the streets and squares of the village. Alongside the glasses, there are typical local products, expressions of the agricultural and gastronomic tradition of the Piceno and Macerata areas. Among the most popular offerings are wine cocktails, a fresh and creative formula that has become a distinctive feature of the event, also designed to introduce younger people to the region's wine culture in a conscious way.
The heart of the festival is Piazzale Trento, where the evening kicks off with an aperitif dinner accompanied by live music. As night falls, conviviality reaches its peak with the midnight spaghetti feast, a convivial moment under the stars that evokes the idea of a large village table. The celebration continues with a DJ set that livens up the village until late at night.
More than just a wine festival, Sant'Angelo DiVino is an opportunity to discover an authentic village in the inner Marche region and its community, in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Promoted by the Municipality of Sant'Angelo in Pontano together with the Pro Loco, the event celebrates local food and wine excellences and the identity of a territory that makes conviviality and hospitality its calling card. An evening that combines wine, music, and human connections, restoring the village's vibrancy of great summer festivals.
The fourth edition of Sant'Angelo DiVino was held on Friday, June 5, 2026, in the village of Sant'Angelo in Pontano, Province of Macerata. The heart of the evening was Piazzale Trento, where the aperitif dinner began at 8:30 PM, accompanied by live music from Valentino Alessandrini.
Four wineries were featured with their labels: Podere Sabbioni, Cantina Bastianelli (Rapagnano), Lumavite (Rapagnano), and Colleluce (Serrapetrona), alongside typical local products and wine cocktails, a fresh and creative offering aimed particularly at the younger audience. At midnight, the anticipated spaghetti feast under the stars, followed by a DJ set by Luca Moretti until late at night. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Sant'Angelo in Pontano and the Pro Loco.
